Million Selling Record,An Oldie But Goodie, If You Let Me Make Love to You, Then Why Can’t I Touch You, Stands The Test Of Time!

Peter Link has spent a lifetime writing music. He has been my producer for many years, producing my last five albums for Watchfire Music and my NYC live act, The Jenny Burton Experience, that ran for close to ten years in Manhattan.

If  You Let Me Make Love to You, Then Why Can’t I Touch You: written by composer and producer Peter Link and lyricist C.C. Courtney, recorded in the smooth golden tones of Ronnie Dyson, sold over a million recordings for Columbia Records.  The original version of the song was also on the cast album of Salvation.

Salvation was a 1969 Off-Broadway rock musical with music, lyrics, and book by Peter Link and C.C. Courtney.

If You Let Me Make Love to You was also recorded by Johnnie Mathis and Dionne Warwick. From Salvation, Peggy Lee, recorded, “Let’s Get Lost In Now,” and even Mae West recorded, “In Between” from Salvation.

Fast forward to 2020. Peter, still as prolific as ever, is working with his old partner C.C.‘s brother, Ragan Courtney, on Rosemary And Thyme, a music podcast tackling the various facets of spirituality in a fresh and modern way.
